Situated between the Romulan Star Empire and the United Federation of Planets, Andlaxia is proud to serve as a neutral and open port to any  parties. For those of you disembarking at Andlaxia Station, please have your passports ready. For those of you traveling on, please feel free to visit the numerous eating and rest establishments in the star port duty-free zone.

Yes, Romulan Ale and tobacco are legal here... slavery is not. All slaves that reach Andlaxian soil or property are legally freed by the Treaties of Independencia. Andlaxia is not responsible for unforeseen manumissions.

A little about Andlaxia:

The largest employer in Andlaxian space is W&F Industries, Unlimited, a UFP-based conglomerate of mining, cargo shipping, and ship building interests. In return for a perpetual lease of much of the system, W&F Industries has invested heavily in the education, economic, and social systems of Andlaxia, leading to one of the highest standards of living in the quadrant, surpassing even some Federation worlds.

As Andlaxia is placed in that area of space known as the Romulan Neutral Zone, the Defense Force is charged with maintaining safe trade routes into and out of the two great powers on either side of the Zone, as well as ensuring the continued sovereignty of the system. The ADF serves as a combined military and police force, and works with Starfleet and Romulan forces as a sort of glue that keeps things running smoothly.

Various star empires and governments value the neutral space of Andlaxia and therefore maintain consulates and trade missions within our borders. Extant consulates currently include the United Federation of Planets, the Romulan Star Empire, the Klingon Empire, the Cardassian Union, the Breen Confederation, the First Federation, the Tholian Assembly, and the trade commission of the Orion Syndicates.
